-I agree with you , some players can be 25 and even 30 ppg scorers but is that really for the best for the team and for the long run. I always have thought unless in a guy where you are hot... it is better to stay within the flow of the offensive. See, this is why I think Shaq's comments the other night were a compliment to Yao. Saying something like "he's just doing what he should do" suggesting Yao's just huge and you can't block his shot. Being born tall doesn't do it. Yao's not just showing up tall. He's got skill and doing what he should be doing with his height, using it to his advantage.
Shaq is gigantic and does what he should do with that for a whole career. But if he didn't put in the work? He'd be a 360 pound Shawn Bradley and NOT doing what he should be doing.所以我说奥尼尔说的话是对姚明的褒奖."他只是在做他应该做的". 生来大个儿并不意味必然牛B.姚明不仅仅高而且有技巧.奥尼尔很强壮,他一直在做他应该做的.但如果他没有呢? 那么他只是一个360磅的布拉德利而已.

-It's gonna be tough matchup for both teams:
-Spurs: If you put Oberto on Yao, it's gonna be a long night for the Spurs. Duncan of course is the best defender, but guarding Yao means that he'll pick up fouls. I think Elson is a better matchup. 如果让OBERTO防姚, 那对于马刺来说将会是一个漫长的夜晚.邓肯无疑防守好, 但是让他防姚他会陷入犯规麻烦.我觉得最好让ELSON防姚明.
-Anyways, (sorry for triple-post), I see a Spurs win 86-81. Hopefully, Bonzi will not go crazy on us like he did last year in the playoffs. The key is to limit Yao, who has been playing extremely well.我觉得马刺赢.希望BONZI不会象去年季候赛那么疯狂.关键是限制姚,他现在打的太好了.

-I honestly like the Rockets quite a bit. My heart and soul belong to the Mavericks, but I really like the Rockets and Pacers as well. I've just always respected the hell out of T-Mac, and Yao is just simply one of my favorite players. When they play the Mavs, I want them to die horrible deaths, but otherwise, I root for them. 我挺喜欢火箭.我的灵魂给了小牛, 但我确实喜欢火箭和步行者. 我一直很尊重麦地, 而姚更是我最喜欢的球员之一....
-I like houston to a certain degree, but the coach puts me off. The players they have would flourish in a better offense..instead Van Gundy is trying to keep the score in the 70s. I think a person like Avery could work wonders in Houston. 我喜欢火箭. 他们的球员进攻能力很不错.但教练太差了. 如果"小将军"约翰逊去执教, 他们能取得很好的成绩.
-I don't think it is a coincidence that the Rockets destroyed Dallas and the Heat...If this team stays healthy and TMac returns to form... this team is scary.
In the past, Yao was really only good for the first half. He would be too tired and slow in the second half. Yao is in better shape. He ran Shaq into the ground and he made our centers look really clumsy (and our centers are good defenders).
It depends on their health down the road....我不觉得火箭打败小牛和热火是偶然的.如果这支球队保持健康,并且麦地找到状态, 他们的实力令人恐惧.过去姚只能打半场好球, 但是现在他显然体力,状态更好.他可以对抗鲨鱼, 让我们的中锋们无所适从(我们的中锋的防守能力已经算不错了).

-IF Tmac is healthy they will be elite, if not they will just be good with Yao being a dominating center.

-The only redeming light of hope on the rickets is Yao. McCrappy is a choker; choked in Toronto, choked in Orlando, and choked against the Mavs in game 7...他们唯一的希望是姚.麦地....
-Everyone seems to think I'm hyped up on the Rockets because of 6 games... Check some of my earlier posts. I've ALWAYS maintained that Yao would be unstoppable one day, and I've always maintained that the Rockets would be a championship caliber team if they improved their backcourt, which they have done.

-i like the rockets, a lot and outside of the mavs, yao is easily one of my favorite players to watch in the league. a real class act.我挺喜欢火箭, 当然除了小牛. 姚很自然的成为我最喜欢的球员之一, 他打球很棒.
-With Ming and Mcgrady, I think the Rockets are championship contenders also, but without either of them I don't think they make it past the first round in the playoffs.

-The main problem the Mavs would face in a series against the Rockets is Yao. 对小牛来说, 系列赛战火箭最大的问题是姚.
还有一篇在小牛论坛, 挺长时间以前的帖子, 名字是"Yao, go there". 80%以上的球迷都是肯定姚明的. 不否认仍然有怀疑姚明的, 但绝对少于10%, 甚至更少, 无非是说姚明球风太软.
