丹尼斯·罗德曼，NBA历史上最伟大的球员之一，一向以我行我素著称。
1986年的NBA选秀大会上，罗德曼被活塞队选中，从此踏上了NBA之路。NBA篮球场上人人都想投篮，而抢篮板是没人愿意干的苦活累活。既然没法和乔丹抢风头，为什么不独辟蹊径呢？于是他练就一身篮板球绝技，是唯一一个不得分照样主宰比赛结果的球星。在活塞的最后一个赛季，他平均每场抢下18.3个篮板。后来他被交换到了马刺，这时候他的头发开始花花绿绿起来。1995到1996赛季他来到了芝加哥。凭借着那一手绝活，他成了公牛王朝不可或缺的另类主力，公牛队也因为有了罗德曼的加入伟大的公牛王朝才开始复兴，罗德曼成为90年代中后期美国文化的一个象征。
个性特点：
出身卑微的丹尼斯-罗德曼凭借他的篮球天赋和离经叛道成为NBA赛场上最成功也最具争议性的职业球员。他是一个喜欢他和讨厌他的人都非常多的人，换句话说就是你不喜欢罗德曼就必然讨厌罗德曼，总之你不会对罗德曼没有感觉。罗德曼虽然在球场下吊儿郎当，醉生梦死，但在球场上绝对是一个非常敬业的球员，百分百全情付出。罗德曼是一个个性飞扬的球员，尤其是在公牛的时候，有什么都是直来直去，球场上也是如此，每当觉得自己受到侵犯满怀委屈而裁判却熟视无睹时，他就会坐在被侵犯的地方向裁判示威，裁判不改判就赖着不起来，颇有点我是赖皮的味道。但换来的往往却是技术犯规...... 罗德曼命中注定不会仅以一名篮板王的身份被人记住，有关他的个人崇拜更多的是来自于他场外的言行。例如六年前他在NBA赛场上脚踢了一位黑人摄影师，当时的总统克林顿竟为他求情：“我想他已经后悔了，我是个超级罗德曼迷。”
罗德曼参加过很多体育运动，什么好玩参加什么。他总是很开朗，脑筋转得快，样样都玩得很好。罗德曼是一个纯粹和真实的人，他只想向人们展示自己真实的样子，不想给观众留下任何假印象。他不是好孩子，也不是坏孩子。他只想尽量保持和人交往的平衡，所以他有话直说，也不会端什么名人架子。
